Festival de Cannes 2026: lista completa de ganadores y la película que conquistó la Palma de Oro

La edición 79 del Festival de Cannes llegó a su gran cierre este 23 de mayo con una ceremonia repleta de expectativa en el Grand Théâtre Lumière.

El Festival de Cannes 2026 vive su momento culminante este sábado 23 de mayo con la esperada ceremonia de clausura de su edición número 79, celebrada en el emblemático Grand Théâtre Lumière, epicentro del cine mundial durante las últimas semanas.

La gala, conducida por la actriz francesa Eye Haïdara, reúne a cineastas, actores, productores y figuras clave de la industria cinematográfica internacional para conocer a los grandes triunfadores de una edición que destacó por su fuerte presencia de nuevas voces.

El jurado encargado de elegir a los ganadores estuvo presidido por el reconocido director surcoreano Park Chan-wook, acompañado por figuras de talla internacional como Demi Moore, Ruth Negga, Chloé Zhao, Laura Wandel, Diego Céspedes, Isaach De Bankolé, Paul Laverty y Stellan Skarsgård.

Aunque la atención principal está puesta en la revelación de la Palma de Oro, varias categorías ya tienen ganadores confirmados, consolidando a Cannes como el escaparate más importante del cine a nivel global.

Los homenajes celebraron trayectorias que transformaron la historia del cine en distintas generaciones y géneros.

"Fjord", una de las grandes protagonistas del festival

Si hay una película que ya se perfila como una de las grandes vencedoras morales de Cannes 2026, esa es Fjord, del director Cristian Mungiu.

La película obtuvo:

  • Premio François Chalais
  • Premio de la Ciudadanía

Su recepción crítica ha sido una de las más entusiastas de toda la edición.
